Lothian Unofficial Names List

This list is entirely unofficial, and, apart from a few exceptions, no names have been given to any buses, trams, or other vehichles, by the company officially. This list is not affiliated with Lothian.

I am VioletEclipse on flickr

I have named every bus and tram in the TfE fleet, with the help of some friends. There are also names listed which other people have given to buses.

This page is intended to be an up to date list of the unofficial names which we have for all the buses and trams in the current TfE fleet, as well as the preserved fleet.

Feel free to use the names if you want!

The Current Fleet, With Names

Key

Buses and trams are listed in numberical order by fleet number, ordered mostly by vehicle type.

Round brackets ( ) are used for registration plates.

Italics are used for names.

Curly brackets { } are used for how I pronounce some names which may not be obvious how to pronounce.

Square brackets [ ] are used to show the new fleet numbers of buses which have been renumbered in recent years when other members of the batch haven't been renumbered, such as driver training buses.

Hyphens - are used for distinctive branding on buses, such as the East Lothian branding that the Eclipse 3s had when new and the service 26 zoo branding.
